Valley and JTI are disrupting the non-combustible category with shopper led in-store experiences.

Japan Tobacco International, the leading tobacco product manufacturer in the UK, together with Valley are disrupting shopper journeys with market leading display solutions, bringing premium shopping experiences into wholesale and retailer environments.

Achieving stand out visibility and brand awareness within the wholesale category is fundamental in driving nationwide retail distribution for JTI. Wholesale tobacco areas are often dimly lit with no natural light, the challenge involves delivering division from competitor brands in a cluttered environment, by elevating brand visibility to create a bold and unmissable in-store presence. Our display for Nordic Spirit delivers a unique approach to market, taking a prime retail solution into a wholesale environment delivering a highly effective ‘best in class’ display for the brand.

Our Creative Director Andy explains ‘We make the space work as hard as possible by designing and engineering solutions to make the best use of stockholding, whilst disrupting the forced linearity of shop hardwear. By increasing the perceived size of product facings helps to maximise visibility and communication. Ensuring flexibility for both brand and retailer to alter the display is fundamental to maximise longevity, in order to accommodate new product lines, campaign updates and the release of additional flavours.’

Disrupting categories with shopper led experiences

Working across JTI’s Ploom and Nordic Spirit brands, Valley support across all aspects of design through to manufacture and in-market support. Our experienced creative team use their detailed understanding of the combustible and non combustible tobacco industry sector, along with in-depth knowledge of retailer requirements, to deliver an impactful and scalable solution. Taking design concepts from counter top units through to in-aisle bay displays, ensures the brand is prominent at every touch point throughout the distribution chain.
