← IFA 2025: What caught our eye
IFA 2025
IFA 2025 made it clear, the future is immersive, intelligent, and interconnected, with a focus on people- not just appliances. Whether through adaptive homes, smart cleaning bots, or captivating screen advancements, every innovation aims to simplify and enrich experiences, making home life less of a chore
AI Powered
AI continues to shape the CE landscape, we saw advancements in AI permeated devices across categories, from AI washing machines and cooking assistants to social robots and smart pet care (even auto-cleaning litter boxes!), envisioning a fully connected, AI-driven household.
The connectivity of these ecosystems is now even more sophisticated, putting user lifestyle at the heart of the experience. Think saving energy, planning meals or syncing washer dryers, apps such as Haier’s hOn platform now connects 10 million users across Europe, and is the brain of the eco-system linking appliences to solar panels, air treatment and more.
This cross-category unification demands careful consideration from retailers, as shoppers begin to adopt interconnected appliances into their homes. The in-store journey will also need to evolve, providing experiences, education, and product storytelling that reflect a more connected way of living.

Show, don't tell
As AI continues to push brands and retailers to rethink how they successfully communicate benefits to shoppers, IFA showcased some standout immersive and educational product experiences. AEG, for example, drew attention with its giant walk-in dishwasher display, allowing visitors to step inside and see first-hand the cleaning power brought vividly to life.
Visual communication plays a powerful role in helping shoppers understand product benefits. We saw some great examples from Cecotec incorporating textures, props, and real-life home scenarios into their displays, offering visitors the ability to test and visually see performance capabilities.
Side-by-side comparisons at brands like Hisense and Samsung effectively showcased technological progress, clearly illustrating how products have evolved and the added value they deliver. Whether it’s enhanced performance, superior sound quality, or a more premium experience, these demonstrations are crucial in helping shoppers understand and appreciate the benefits.
Adaptive Display Innovation
Displays are becoming more flexible, responsive, and user-friendly in both work and retail settings. Lenovo’s ThinkBook VertiFlex concept laptop, with a screen that smoothly rotates between landscape and portrait, spoke directly to changing work styles.
We also loved Samsung’s next era of displays, offering transparent screens with twice the clarity of OLED being used in creative ways showcasing vinyl sleeves, bringing to life the artwork of record collections.
RGB LED: Unlocking a New Era of Colour
Everyone was talking about RGB LED at the show, and leading the conversations were Hisense with its incredible 116 inch UX model. IFA 2025 marked a turning point for Hisense, demonstrating both leadership in display tech and a bold vision for making advanced visual experiences more accessible.
With the 116UX as the flagship platform Hisense is paving the way towards mainstream adoption of RGB-MiniLED, supported by an aggressive roadmap toward more affordable, smaller formats in 2026.
