    TaylorMade Golf – SIM2 Totems

    At Valley we like to get creative and here’s a job we’ve recently completed for TaylorMade Golf to launch the new SIM2 Driver. The idea for a 3D Driver Head on the Totem was mocked up and then we went to work to create the end product which was a super looking Totem with cubes made with a Mirri Silver Boxboard to create the Halo effect which is really enhanced when under the lights in-store.

    1900 finished units went into Club Pro Shops and Golf Stores across Europe in over 5 languages. It also featured our geo-locational Tap Scan technology built into every unit so staff could scan the display when assembled to confirm everything is up and working in-store. When consumers scan the code it delivers digital content direct to their phone about the SIM2 Driver and a link to the TaylorMade website where they can view all products the brand has to offer.

    FSDU’s for Miniuno at Smyth’s Toy and Baby Superstores

    What could be more important than choosing a mattress for your new baby? We enjoyed working with baby brand Miniuno and developed this eye-catching and highly effective FSDU for Smyth’s stores across the UK. The recyclable units feature touchable and squeezable miniature versions of the Miniuno mattress range. We incorporated a feature table into the header, allowing parents to quickly compare the features and benefits of the different mattresses. So baby’s can sleep comfortably, soundly and in true Miniuno style.

    We can’t wait to visit Pernod Ricard’s Beefeater pub on the London Eye

    Pernod Ricard’s Beefeater gin has opened a tiny pub on the London Eye.

    Guests will be welcomed to their “Pub pod” where there will be a barman, dark wooden furnishings and red velvet pub-style seating. During the 30-minute experience, guests can enjoy up to two drinks per person and choose from a selection of Beefeater Gin, including the new Beefeater Peach & Raspberry Gin. Craft beers and wine will also be available.

    The pub opens on 4 June and is available to book for groups of up to 5 on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays through till September. Visitors will receive a souvenir enamel Beefeater cup to take away. Sunny Jouhal, general manager at the London Eye, said: “We are excited to welcome everyone aboard one of the highest, and most intimate, pubs in London to enjoy a drink with us this summer. The ‘Pub pod’ serves up a unique experience like no other – moving across the capital’s most iconic views while in the comfort of a British pub.”

    Would you trust Heineken to cut your hair?

    Heineken celebrated the re-opening of pubs and hairdressers by hosting pop-ups in pub gardens so visitors could enjoy a pint while getting a haircut. On 12 April outdoor hospitality and hairdressers in England opened after four months of lockdown. The “Shear genius!” activation featured mobile hairdressing units that were setup in pub gardens in London and the West Midlands. This meant that customers didn’t have to choose between a having a pint and getting a trim.

    To be eligible for a complimentary haircut, pub patrons just needed to buy a pint of Heineken. The haircuts also took place in a branded airstream. The campaign launched in London at The Gregorian pub in Bermondsey, where celebrity hairstylist Michael Douglas supplied trims. This fun activation follows the brand’s cherry picker delivery service that we featured in a previous post.
